Support Measures

The scheme supports investments in environmental friendly and sustainable solutions enable business undertakings to go beyond their legal obligations. Increasingly such solutions do not only address future regulations but are also linked to economic development and growth.

This incentive seeks to help Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to invest in eco-innovation solutions that support long term competitiveness and contribute to environmentally sustainable business activities by addressing:

Þ water and air quality;

Þ waste streams; and

Þ resource utilisation.

Innovation Environmental projects may receive part-financing on:

Þ Services incurred directly for the attainment of recognised environmental certification, such as EMAS, ISO, Eco-Label and other standards recognised by the MSA.

Þ Costs of plant, machinery and equipment incurred to achieve a better environmental performance;
