SME Development

This incentive may be provided to support Small and Medium–sized Enterprises to help them develop and diversify their activities, penetrate new markets, increase competitiveness, develop new products and services, and consolidate their existing market share.

Benefits

Through this incentive eligible enterprises may be provide with part financing for:

1. their first time participation in trade fairs, and

2. subcontracting external experts in relation to new development projects.

Through this incentive ME will cover up to 50% of the total eligible costs. The total aid received by one enterprise may not exceed €10,000 in one calendar year.

Prior to applying for aid under this incentive, enterprises are advised to contact Malta Enterprise for guidance on the application process.

Enterprises will be requested to provide details on their activities to determine how benefiting for this incentive can significantly impact their development.
