This ERDF Research and Development Grant Scheme provides grants to enterprises carrying out Industrial Research and Experimental Development activities leading to the development of new or significantly improved products, processes or services.

The scheme will part-finance eligible costs related to industrial research projects and experimental development projects.  These costs include:

Þ wages of researchers and technicians;

Þ depreciation costs of new instruments and new equipment;

Þ costs of material, supplies and similar products, bought specifically for the research project;

Þ subcontracted research;

Þ the purchase of technical knowledge and patents.
